Founded in 2018, Brouwerij Bjuster Brewery is located in the picturesque heart of Frouz, a water town in the province of Friesland, Netherlands. Since its inception, the brewery has been dedicated to brewing distinctive and high-quality specialty beers that fully showcase the region's rich local traditions and exquisite craftsmanship.
In 2023, Mr. Auke, the owner and brewer of Boujster Brewery, decided to expand his brewery's operations and upgrade to a professional 800 liter beer brewing system to support higher production volumes and increased efficiency while maintaining the quality of his craft beers.
Mr. Auke initially discovered our company while searching online for professional brewing equipment suppliers. He was impressed by our extensive portfolio of customized craft beer brewing equipment and contacted us to discuss the details. In our initial communication, it was clear that Mr. Auke was highly professional and experienced in craft beer brewing. He detailed his requirements, including production capacity, brewing process, and the types of beers he planned to brew. Following careful evaluation and planning, we determined the design and supply solution for an 800 liter beer brewing system (7BBL beer brewing equipment) tailored to his unique needs.
To meet the specific requirements of the Brouwerij Bjuster Brewery, we designed a craft beer brewing system consisting of three vessels employing a dual-batch brewing mode.
This design offers numerous advantages:
Time Efficiency: Continuous brewing of two batches of beer without interruption significantly reduces overall brewing time.
Space Optimization: Integrating the wort mixing/washing tank, fermentation vessel, and vortex tank into a compact layout effectively saves floor space within the brewery.
Enhanced Functionality: The vortex fermentation tank is equipped with a cooling jacket and wort addition interface, enabling precise wort cooling and addition during brewing.
This three vessel brewhouse system ensures production flexibility, allowing the Brouwerij Bjuster Brewery to produce a variety of different beer types while maintaining consistent quality across each batch.
Upon receiving Mr. Auke's order and deposit, our engineering team began designing the 800 liter beer brewing system. We provided detailed engineering drawings for the brewery, fermentation tanks, and auxiliary equipment.
We understood that the Brouwerij Bjuster Brewery produces specialty craft beers, which require strict control over malt milling time, hop addition methods, and fermentation parameters. Therefore, we revised the drawings multiple times to ensure the system met all technical and operational requirements.
This meticulous planning ensured that the 8HL beer brewery equipment sold was not only fully functional but also perfectly suited to the brewery's production processes and space constraints.
The 800-liter system includes conical beer fermentation tanks made of food-grade stainless steel, featuring:
* A conical-cylindrical design for efficient yeast collection
* Glycol cooling jackets for precise temperature control
* Pressure and vacuum relief valves for safety
* CIP spray balls for efficient cleaning
* Sampling and feeding ports for monitoring the fermentation process and adding dry spices
These features enable the Brueveli Burgess Brewery to consistently produce high-quality, consistent craft beers, whether lagers, ales, or specialty seasonal beers.
