The Leuca Beer Bar in Argentina quickly gained popularity among local craft beer enthusiasts for its unique flavors and high-quality beers. In 2023, owner Mr. Mauro decided to expand his brewery business, directly integrating a small commercial beer brewery equipment with the bar, allowing customers to enjoy fresh, homemade beer while watching the brewing process.

After searching online for prices of 1000l brewery equipment, Mr. Mauro found our company—a leading beer brewing equipment manufacturer in China. Impressed by our reputation and project results, he contacted us to discuss custom-designing a 1000l commercial beer brewing equipment.

Mr. Mauro had a clear vision for his brewery: he wanted not only to create a high-performance commercial brewery but also to make it a showcase for his self-operated pub. To achieve this goal, he requested that the turnkey brewery equipment and beer fermentation tanks be made of mirror-polished stainless steel, giving the brewery a stylish, modern look that would impress visitors and complement the pub's style.

We engaged in in-depth discussions with Mr. Mauro to understand his brewing needs, preferred beer types, and production goals. The commercial beer brewing system is designed to handle batches of up to 10 tons of beer, making it ideal for a beer bar serving local customers while also accommodating small-batch trials of seasonal or specialty beers.

Breakfast Layout and Production Process

Given the limitations and opportunities inherent in the building, we designed a two-story brewery layout that maximizes both production efficiency and the visitor experience.

First Floor - Fermentation Area: This floor houses all the 1000l beer fermentation tanks, including several 1000-liter conical fermentation tanks. These beer tanks are equipped with glycol jackets for precise temperature control, CIP spray balls for efficient cleaning, and safety relief valves to ensure a safe fermentation process. The first-floor layout ensures ample space for safe personnel movement, cleaning, and beer processing.

Second Floor – Brewhouse:

The second floor features the brewhouse, including a mash/lauter tun, brew kettle, and whirlpool tank, all designed in stainless steel with mirror-polished finish. The brewhouse uses steam or electric heating for accurate temperature control, allowing precise mashing, boiling, and hopping processes.

Connecting Piping: The brewing lab is connected to the fermentation area via sanitary stainless steel piping for wort transport, cooling, and circulation, ensuring a seamless transition between brewing and fermentation. This layout facilitates mass production while also enhancing the brewery's visual appeal to bar visitors.

Mirror-Polished Stainless Steel Design: 

The mirror-polished finish on the microbrewery brewing equipment and 1000 l fermentation tank serves both practical and aesthetic purposes:

Hygiene and Cleanliness – The smooth, polished surface effectively prevents microbial growth and facilitates cleaning.

Visual Appeal – Visitors can see the gleaming stainless steel tanks, further emphasizing the brewery's prominent role as an interior showcase for the bar.

Technical Features of the 10HL beer Brewing System

Designed specifically for the Leuca Beer Bar, the 10HL commercial beer brewing system includes:

Mash/Lauter Tun – With false bottom, rake system, and CIP cleaning.

Brew Kettle/Whirlpool Tank – For wort boiling and hop separation.

Hot Liquor Tank (HLT) – Provides hot water for mashing and cleaning operations.

Fermentation Tanks – 1000L cylindroconical vessels with glycol cooling jackets and pressure relief valves.

Pumps, Pipes, and Valves – Sanitary components to maintain clean and efficient beer transfer.

Control System – Optional PLC or semi-automatic control for precise temperature, flow, and timing management.

This setup allows the beer bar to consistently produce high-quality beer, while also providing flexibility for developing experimental or seasonal beer styles.
